Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

This policy explains what Stoneveil Operations LLC ("stoneVEIL," "we," "us") collects through stoneveil.io and how it's used. It's written to match how the site actually works today. It is provided as a plain-language reference, not legal advice — please have counsel review it before relying on it, especially if you plan to serve customers in states with specific privacy statutes (e.g. California, Colorado, Virginia).

1. Information you provide

When you submit the missed-call audit form, we collect:

2. Information we look up about your business

To generate your audit, we look up your business's public Google Business Profile (via the Google Places API) — things like hours, services listed, review count, and photos. This is public information about the business you told us about, not personal data about you as an individual.

3. How we use this information

We do not use your submission to train third-party AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. Where your data is stored

Submissions are stored in a Postgres database (hosted on Neon) so we can follow up and track lead status. Access to the leads dashboard is restricted to stoneVEIL staff and protected by password authentication.

5. Who we share it with

ServicePurpose
Google (Gemini API, Places API)Audit generation, business lookup
ResendDelivering your audit email
CalendlyBooking discovery calls
Neon (Postgres)Storing lead records

Each of these providers processes data only as needed to provide their service to us.

6. Cookies & analytics

We use Plausible Analytics for aggregate site traffic stats. Plausible is cookieless — it doesn't track you individually or across other sites, and doesn't collect personal data. We don't run advertising trackers or set cross-site tracking cookies.

7. Data retention

We keep lead records as long as reasonably useful for follow-up and business records, and delete or anonymize them on request (see Section 9).

8. Security

The site runs over HTTPS, validates and sanitizes all form input, and rate-limits submissions to reduce abuse. The admin dashboard requires authentication.

9. Your choices

To request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, email origin@stoneveil.io. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

10. Children's privacy

This site is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

If how we handle data changes materially, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
